This application collects minimal data necessary to provide feedback:
- Exam scores only - The marks you enter for each question
- Session data - Temporary data stored in your browser
What We DO NOT Collect
- No names or personal identifiers
- No email addresses
- No school information
- No IP addresses (not logged)
- No tracking cookies
How Your Data Is Used
Your exam scores are used to:
- Calculate your grade
- Analyze performance by topic
- Generate personalized feedback using AI (Claude API)
Data Storage and Retention
Session-based only: Your data is stored temporarily in your browser session and is automatically deleted when you:
- Close your browser
- Clear your browser data
- Click "Start Over"
No database storage: We do not store your data on any server or database.
Third-Party Services
Claude API (Anthropic): Your exam scores and question data are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalized feedback. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy and does not retain it for model training.
Your Rights (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: View what data is stored (exam scores in your session)
- Deletion: Delete your data at any time (click "Start Over" or close browser)
- Data portability: Print or save your results before closing
Cookies
This application uses one essential session cookie to maintain your session while using the app. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.
Security
We implement appropriate security measures:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Secure session configuration (HttpOnly, SameSite)
- No long-term data storage
